woohoo!came back from Jakarta last christmas eve and totally lazy to blog...

then days before found out that widjaja going there! so cooll... so wanna meet him!
haha.. too bad he's gg to surabaya first.
argh.
anws, i wore green on the first day so kinda attracted a lot fo attention.... and i mean LIME GREEN!... haha.
ok.so.. we stayed at Pan pacific... though as i see it... i would prefer Hyatt hotel.
It was like that trip to Beijing.. and we had to endure the traffic jam before making it to town... it was beautiful with monuments right in the centre of a merry-go-round...( is that the proper word???). Ok. And of cos, my dad was hungry for food and we got cheated of 40 bucks. URGH. driver's commission you know? Go shopping was next... yay. shop shop... oooo... hmm. actually was quite late when we came out.. so we went nearby, and boy was the prices way high ok.. like singapore's orchard rd pricing. extravagant. no no... this is not the right word.. another shopping mall more of it. Ok. ans. 3rd day went to Bandung through train. Really ancient train like what I saw.... Their so called Mee Rebus was actually literally Mee Rebus, like boiling the mee or sth.. and wala!.. they presented me with maggie mee. -_-" Anw, i was hungry so it tasted pretty good.. But urgh... you know the place was really like a small town.. and most unexpectedly, the big traffic jam!... It's worst than in Jakarta! I thought it was just a quiet town situated in the mountains or sth... but nah so wrong. Anyways, It took us approx 45 min to reach the so called shopping district. Really like Phuket kinda pasar malam... really miss those days by the beach.. and walking into the area reminds me of bukit tinggi resort(in malaysia)... so british kinda shophouses... really changes the impression of this town man..! It's a shopping heaven! With, factory outlets and sales and t-shirts costing from 2-3 bucks(the cheap ones)... but of cos, the prices cannot be compared to Bangkok!... nah uh...

And yes, they do have a high-class Starbucks sorta thing. OO.... forgot to say, they have plenty of fast-food outlets in Jakarta, KFC aplenty, Pizzahut, .... and there's this Ooh La La cafe.. darn funny. So... back.. they had this accesorise(pardon me for my english) store selling all sorts of diff kinds of super adorable stuffs!.... really nice la! I wanna buy everything!.. and clothes.. and makeup... and I bought an adidas trackpants...yay!

SO. hmmm. everything was short... most of our time was caught in the darn traffic jam! really la..I fell asleep on the way to the restaurant ... and when I woke up... we're still darn stuck in the traffic jam.. and it's been an hour! It's not like the town is big... it's darn small ok!... it's a hill.. kind ... so all kinds of vehicles, motorcycles everything had to follow one road. Terrible.. in the end.. we had to skip dinner and rush to the train station to secure our seats before anything else... I don't wanna stay here... and end up paying 100 over dollars in Jakarta for one night we didn't stay in the hotel! Anyway, Bandung had lousy hotels. So we went nearby to eat after we knew that our train ride was one hour later.


And yes, we gave away our old clothes, quite sentimental really.
hmm. So, this store.. urgh. lots of flies. BIG ones!... can't help it.
Train ride was worst... i'd tell you when we came back.. I saw the kitchen... Boy.. it was like the ermm... rations kind of cooking in NP... no bloody hygiene... everything was left there. Not washed! urgh.. somemore.. they still had this menu to ask for food orders. Pls la.

hmm ..then... it was dark... not a picture taking sorta spirit... hmm. saw a lot of lampost lights. quite boring yet hmm. romantic. everybody was minding their own business. well.. actually... We had to pass through some really high bridges before coming to Bandung.. and the same way back... the thought of doing that... but not seeing where you are.. all in pitch black is really eerie..

so.. anws.. we went to this newly open mall.. the newer more modern version of ngee ann city... with high ceilings and everything... and the prices are all higher than in paragon la! eek!

ok.. anw. I'm signing up for courses. can't wait! I get another freelance parttime job after i stop work tmr.
